Trident Racing is the leading Italian team in the GP2 Series. The Team made its debut in the 2006 racing season, quickly becoming a top team in the official Formula One feeder category thanks to state-of-the-art technology and a high level Staff.

The Team was founded by Maurizio Salvadori, who is recognized as one of the most important business men and talent scouts in the Italian and international music field.

Salvadori has been able to mix his own professional skills in the entertainment and image sector with his great passion for motorsport that characterized him from a young age. He has brought to a life a young and dynamic team that is focused on technology research without forgetting the important rules of communication activities.

Throughout the years the team has reached some very good targets, where the Montecarlo Grand Prix victories in 2007 and 2008 stand out for their prestige at a worldwide level during the same F1 weekend and the “GP2 Best Team Presentation for 2007” and the “GP2 Best Team Communication for 2008” were awarded to Trident Racing for best image and communication activities between all the teams participating in the Championship.

Trident Racing’s policy is based on a right mix between professional experiece and young dynamism, essential requirements in becoming a technologically, efficient and innovative advanced team.

In addition, Trident Racing considers of fundamental importance the preparation, development and growth of its own drivers, who are signed on the basis of their characteristics which are coherent with the sports strategies of the Team.
